Poetic tales, animal tales, tall tales, family tales, funny tales, magic tales, nature tales – any kind of illustrated tale can be entered in the NHPTV-PBS KIDS WRITERS CONTEST sponsored by New Hampshire Public Television! This year marks the 21st NHPTV writing and illustrating contest for children, and with it a goal of 1,000 submissions from Granite State kids and schools.

Children in grades K – 3 are invited to submit their original illustrated stories to the NHPTV-PBS KIDS WRITERS CONTEST. The contest encourages children to explore the power of creativity by writing and illustrating their own stories, and it promotes reading skills through active learning. Contest guidelines and writing resources are available at nhptv.org/kidswrite; the deadline to submit stories is March 31.
