PORTSMOUTH - Blizzard “Juno” is the first snowstorm to hit the Northeast in 2015, and sure is making a big impact with its cold temperatures and record snowfall. Here at the Green Alliance, we love to enjoy the beauty of a true New England winter and hope everyone is staying safe and warm during this storm. New England is well known for its cold weather and snow during the winter months, but these characteristics of our region are threatened by the changes associated with global climate change. The Green Alliance is excited to experience another Nor’Easter and hopes that the future generations are able to enjoy the same natural beauties of winter. In celebration of the first blizzard of the year, the Green Alliance is offering a free lift ticket to Cranmore Mountain to the first person to join today as a new Sustaining Member.

Once Juno moves out of the Northeast, we will be left with perfect skiing conditions and potentially two feet of fresh, powdery snow. Skiers and snowboarders know that the best time to hit the slopes is right after a big snowfall, and what could be better to enjoy the mountain than a free lift ticket? The Green Alliance is offering this 1-day adult lift ticket to Cranmore Mountain ($64 dollar value) thanks its Business Partner, New Hampshire Public Television. NHPTV work to bring viewers local and educational programming, while they strive to adopt sustainable business practices. Green Alliance members have the chance to win a variety of free passes to attractions in New Hampshire, through NHPTV, a perk for joining as a consumer member.
