News : Gateway Open House to Benefit SeniorNet

In celebration of its one-year anniversary, GateWay Taiji, Qigong & and Yoga is offereing an afternoon of free demonstrations and classes on Sunday, October 6, from 2-5p.m. at the GateWay studio on 875 Islington St. in Portsmouth. Optional donations will benefit Greater Portsmouth SeniorNet, a safety net for vulnerable Seacoast seniors. Open house activities will include yoga stretch and classes led by Lily Sibley, an introduction to the acclaimed "Tai Chi: Moving for Better Balance" curriculum, and an introduction to Five Animal Sports Qigong (Chi Kung). A demonstration of the Taiji Sword form will be performed by GateWay founder Bill Buckley and several of his students from Yangs Martial Arts (YMAA) in Boston.
