News : Still golfing in February Sagamore Golf Club takes advantage of odd winter

NORTH HAMPTON — It might technically be the dead of winter, but you wouldn't know it watching the pull-carts and shoulder-strewn bags traversing across the pristine pitch of North-Hampton's Sagamore Golf Club. For just the second time in the 50-year-old course's history, February has arrived to find Sagamore's doors and links open for business.

From 9 am until sundown, anyone Jonesing for a trip across the links can work out driver, wedge and putter on the course's 18 scenic holes. According to owner Richard Luff, plenty of regulars have thus far taken advantage of the unusual weather.
