Sarah Carter, a 2003 graduate of University of Vermont recently joined the team at Petersen Engineering proving that women can also play a key role in the world of engineering. With a strong past in mechanical engineering, Carter spent five years working for a large firm in Washington D.C., before returning to New Hampshire and landing a job as the only woman at Petersen Engineering.
