KITTERY — If you drive into Kittery on Sunday morning, May 22, do not be surprised if you see fire trucks and hundreds of people running.

It's not an emergency – just the 5th annual Kittery Fire Association 5K Run and Walk.


The Kittery Volunteer Fire Department turns 101 this year, giving the entire community plenty of reason to celebrate. The fun kicks off on Saturday, May 21 with a $5 pancake breakfast at the new fire station, located on Gorges Road off the Route 1 Bypass.
