It’s 5:00 on a Thursday afternoon, and Sarah Brown hasn’t even gone through her emails. She has to leave in an hour, but her Outlook Express inbox isn’t in the mood to cooperate.

Brown, Project Director for Green Alliance (GA), a self-described “green business union” which seeks to raise the profile of sustainability-minded companies throughout the region, is visibly frustrated.

“Another day of getting nothing accomplished,” she quips with not a little trepidation.
