PORTSMOUTH — 1 World Trading Co. on Congress Street is serving as a collection site for used ink jet cartridges and old cell phones to raise money for Arts In Reach, a nonprofit organization that builds self-esteem and resiliency in teenage girls through art and performance workshops in Rockingham and Strafford counties.

"Our mission is to empower teenage girls through mentoring and the arts," Leanne Stella, AIR executive director, said. "In our art, theater, poetry and dance workshops, we talk about good choices and being a positive part of our communities. Partnering with Paul and Karen Keegan, owners of 1 World Trading Co., is a small example of how the community can support our youth and come together to affect change."
