Feb 12 - Portsmouth Public Forum on Proposed Bicycle Lanes

Portsmouth City Hall, 1 Junkins Ave, Portsmouth, NH 03801

7:00 p.m.

The city of Portsmouth will hold a public meeting on Feb. 12 in the Eileen Dondero Foley Council Chambers at City Hall to discuss the addition of bicycle lanes in Portsmouth on the busy stretch of Lafayette Road to Middle Street in the downtown. The proposed bike lanes would connect neighbors to both the middle school and St. Patrick School on Austin Street. City Transportation Direction Juliet Walker is in support of the addition, calling this corridor "a key connector for all age groups to the downtown". City officials hightly encourage the public to attend and weigh in on the options in order to determine the best option for the community.
