 After years spent heading a traditional marketing company, Steve and Cary Bowman – spurred by the inevitable rise of social media marketing – launched Social Kitchen in 2010. The goal was simple: To leverage various social media platforms in a way that helps businesses better connect with and relate to their clients.

Recognizing the seismic shift underway in the world of communications, Cary and Steve jumped into social media head first, learning the ins and outs of Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, and the rest. Not long after they began offering training sessions to their growing list of clients, the Bowmans realized that, while they could teach them how to engage in social media, they couldn’t create the time for them to do it. After all, the last thing most businesses were thinking about in the midst of a recession was adding another job to their already overloaded plates.

Over the next few years, Social Kitchen grew into one of the Seacoast region’s go-to sources for social media expertise, helping businesses of all shapes and sizes incorporate varying strategies into their overall marketing plans.
