Green Story

With little more than a one-ton dump truck and a wheelbarrow full of landscaping tools, Charlie Bourdages launched Site Structures in 1996. He had two simple goals: do the projects right, and treat the customer honestly. Twenty years later, it’s a formula that has made Site Structures one of the region’s most trusted landscaping resources. Today, Bourdages, Ben Woods, Curt Rose and the rest of the Site Structures team stand as a testament to how a combination of quality, integrity, green practices, and community involvement can take a business to the next level.

Site Structures operates their thriving business out of Eliot, Maine with dedicated crews capable of handling just about any project imaginable including patios, walks, walls, planting, grading, lawn prep and renovation, perennial gardens installation maintenance, and mowing and cleanups. Expert commercial snow removal and winter pruning keep the crews busy during the winter and round out the year. The crews love to be challenged. From transplanting one shrub without any collateral damage. to planning and installing an entire landscape, they are up for the task.

Over the years, Site Structure's operation has grown to include a number of cutting edge green techniques and practices. From sustainable landscape designs to chemical-free alternatives, storm water management to rain garden implementation, sourcing local products whenever possible to powering their fleet vehicles with biodisel, the folks at Site Structures go to great lengths to assure that no green stone is left unturned. Site Structures is also committed to supporting local initiatives (Cross Roads House, the Joan G Lovering Health Center, Portsmouth Rotary Club, Portsmouth Criterium, and Seacoast Velo Kids to name a few). These efforts to give back continue to be the difference maker for discerning customers.
