When Michael Mark tells the story of Grander Technology, he speaks with a palpable sense of pride. Johann Grander, the inventor of the system, was an Austrian naturalist with "no classical scientific training" who, according to Michael, was last spotted leasing a gas station in the Austrian village of Jochberg before embarking at the age of 50 into the world of self-directed experimental physics. He developed ten versions of a unique magnetic current generator system in 10 years, and serendipitously found that his work improved the physical structure of water – renewing water’s energetic properties and enhancing its stability and self-purification abilities. Grander called the water treated directly by his invention "Information Water" because of its ability to influence the physical structure and energetic properties of nearby water.

The Grander devices, one of many water treatment products distributed by Michael through Water Revitalization Ltd, contain only steel, copper, and water, making it 100% recyclable and a true cradle-to-cradle product. The home unit, which is about the size of a toaster oven, doesn't require any electricity, chemical additives or other consummable catalysts for any of its functions. As Michael puts it, "it's a technology that provides a lot of ecological and personal benefits, with zero environmental downside, by making water more valuable to all living systems. And that makes it really unique in the overall marketplace."

Most water filtration systems remove contaminants- an important function- but the damage those contaminants did to the water’s internal energetic processes remains unattended. In the words of Johann Grander, “Being the most important storage medium, water absorbs all influences from the environment, positive and negative information alike, and passes them over to the living beings. The drinking water for big cities is taken from large rivers, filtered several times, irradiated and chemically processed, i.e. cleaned materially. The remaining harmful information, however, is still passed on the organisms of living beings.”
