EnergyNorth recently joined the Green Alliance through a partnership with Simply Green BioFuels, who was interested in adding propane to their already thriving bio-heat services. EnergyNorth, a 24-7 full service operation based in Concord, is now the GA's exclusive propane dealer, and as such are making great strides to green up their business practices, including an extensive recycling program within their numerous New Hampshire field facilities (they currently operate out of the Lakes Region, as well as in Bedford, Amherst, Derry, Bow, as well as their Concord headquarters.

Going forward, EnergyNorth will be running all of their deisel fleet vehicles with Simply Green fuel. Simply Green will also be helping EnergyNorth with their green marketing efforts, including a forthcoming discount for all GA Green Card holders.

As far as greening efforts are concerned, EnergyNorth already has a good head start. Propane gas is considered the world's most convenient and versatile fuel. Like natural gas, propane is clean, efficient, reliable, and less expensive than electricity. Unlike natural gas, propane is portable and the energy that it provides can be utilized beyond the gas mains. Propane is more efficient, requires less maintenance, and is more convenient than electricity and fuel oil.
