This Sunday, take the whole family for an outing to remember at the Kittery Community Market, as they are holding an official Kid’s day! The event will be held from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. in Post Office Square in Kittery.

Between the games, prizes and vendors with delicious food and drinks, there’s guaranteed to be something special for everyone. Prizes included a Frisbee from Stratham Mitsubishi, an opportunity to enter to win a Green Alliance membership and a chance to win a kayak courtesy of Portsmouth Kayak Adventures.

Don’t fret for a proper Father’s Day celebration, as the event will offer everything dad needs to have some fun and enjoy his day. Live music by Paul Shumway and Fair Tide and fresh, local food are all a dad needs to stay full and happy. In addition to all this, local artisan work will be available and will help further support the weekly markets.

If you’re not quite ready to quit the good times when the event ends at 2, visit the Tributary Brew Company for an excellent offer. In support of the Kittery Community Market, Tributary Brewing Co. will be donating $1 of every one of their delectable Pale Ale to help maintain the thriving weekly markets. The donations will be going on between 1-5 p.m., so be sure to make your way there soon after Kid’s Day.

Aside from this weeks Kid’s Day, community members encourage all to attend the weekly markets. The markets truly are a huge player in supplying community members with incomparably delightful produce and connections with businesses local to you.
In support of your community, come take advantage of this incredible opportunity to localize you food and fun, all while spending the day with family.
