Blog : Celebrate the Ocean with Blue Ocean Society's Year-End Event

The Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation is holding their annual Year-End Celebration at the Blue Mermaid Island Grill on December 2 from 5-7:30 pm. Blue Ocean Society will be providing free hors d’ouevres and live music along with a cash bar. Attendees can learn about Blue Ocean Society’s work to protect marine mammals, purchase holiday gifts and make a tax-deductible donation to show their support for a healthy marine environment. The Blue Mermaid Island Grill is located at 409 The Hill in Portsmouth, NH.

The Blue Ocean Society for Marine Conservation is a Portsmouth, NH-based non-profit organization that was established in 2001. Blue Ocean Society’s mission is to protect marine mammals in the Gulf of Maine through education, research, and conservation. Blue Ocean Society organizes beach cleanups, studies whales and conducts educational programs to schools throughout New England. The event is open to all.
