Blog : MetalWave electronics recycling event hosted by Red Hook

Today MetalWave, teamed up with Red Hook Brewery, for an electronic waste recycling event. From 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. E-Cycle Fest 2014 will be in full swing. The event is open to all Pease International Tradeport tenants and their employees.

They will be providing the venue for the disposal of unwanted technology or electronics. Some items that may be recycled include but are not limited to computers, laptops, servers, keyboards, projectors, cables, cords, wires and light bulbs. A small fee will be applied to items such as monitors, printers, alkaline batteries, and televisions.

Anyone who recycles five or more items will be qualified for a $2 beer at Red Hook Ale Brewery. This collaboration between MetalWave and Red Hook can be tracked back to the two businesses introduction through the Green Alliance.

Green Alliance members enjoy up to 50% off recycling charges on electronics, including monitors, printers, faxes, copiers, and televisions, as well as free battery recycling at MetalWave.

Green Alliance members enjoy 10% off all food at the Red Hook Ale Brewery.
