Blog : MetalWave Sustainably Recycles Electronics

Do you have electronics sitting around your house that are unusable? Most people do. Fortunately, Green Alliance business partner, MetalWave, Inc. can recycle them for you in a sustainable manner. MetalWave is hosting a recycling event on Saturday May 17, 2014 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m at the Hampton, NH Fire Station on Winnacunnet Road.

The event is open to residents living within the Southeast Regional Refuse Disposal District, which includes: Hampton, Hampton Falls, Kensington, Fremont, New Castle, Rye, Brentwood, Sandown, North Hampton and South Hampton. Residents coming from locations outside these designated areas may be turned away.

Everyone attending is encouraged to bring electronics that are on their last life to be recycled in a green manner. MetalWave, Inc. is a local company specializing in Data Security and Electronics Recycling. They are certified by e-Stewards and R2 and recognized by Green Alliance and the Coalition for American Electronics Recyclers.

 Items accepted at the event will include:

-Laptops, PC’s, Servers
-Keyboards, Mice, Speakers
-PDA’s, Cellphones, Telephones
-Cables, Wires, Drives, Metals
-VCRs, DVDs, Stereos
-Small Monitors and TVs
-Printers, Fax, Copiers/Scanners
-Fluorescent Light Bulbs
