Blog : AJ Edwards and GA Spring Bash a Success!

The Green Alliance’s Spring Bash last night at Redhook Brewery was a massive success and we’d like to extend thanks to all who came out! However, a very special thanks goes out to our headliner AJ Edwards and his beautiful music.

Few people could rival AJ’s performance last night in Alemaker’s Hall, upstairs from Redhook’s Cataqua Public House. The atmosphere he brought to the room was without a doubt what made the event enjoyable for all the business partners and GA members in attendance.

Edwards developed a love for music while spending time with his father in his workshop listening to legends like Stevie Ray Vaughan, Dire Straits, and U2. However, he recounts that what really sparked his passion was when his father surprised him with tickets to see U2 live back when he was 16.

Since then he has enjoyed a great deal of success, opening for many national acts including Blue October and Augustana. However, AJ is ready to turn the page in his career and begin what he describes as a “true evolution in who he is as an artist”.

AJ’s progressive new album, “More Than Daylight” is currently in production and he is hugely optimistic about its release. That said, production costs are always an unfortunate obstacle for musicians in their pursuit of self-expression – and that’s where PledgeMusic comes into play.

Through PledgeMusic, AJ can offer fans a great deal of kickbacks for their financial encouragement including things like signed copies of the new album, T-Shirts, hand written lyric sheets, a one-hour Skype music lesson, and many other incredible giveaways!

Although this is AJ’s fourth studio album, he says in many ways it feels like a debut. After the performance last night, I am more than interested in what the “More Than Daylight” will bring to the table and where it will take Mr. Edwards.
