Blog : NESEA Building Energy 2012 Conference establishing building blocks for the future

The keynote speech of the NESEA BuildingEnergy 2012 conference entitled ‘The Only Way to Predict the Future is to Design It’, is representative of the spirit behind the entire three day event. Taking place on March 6-8, the goal of the conferenece is to inspire innovative ideas and solutions to current energy problems. 

NESEA is an organization built on membership and driven by the support of responsible energy use in the building sector. BuildingEnergy 2012 brings together professionals in the renewable energy and high performance building field and 170 vendors for a premier networking, educational and social event.

Building Energy 2012 is a cross-disciplinary event, and NESEA welcomes those that are experienced, and new to the field. Attendees can choose from 12 different tracks such as Renewable Energy, Green Financing and What the Pros Want to Know. These tracks consist of 80 sessions and workshops including Energy Basics, The State of Affordable Housing and The Future of Natural Gas.

Green Alliance business partner James Petersen of Petersen Engineering will be co-chairing the Health Care track, one of the new additions to the conference schedule. He will also present as part of the Large Scale Multi-Family Done Right workshop.

The Green Alliance will be at the conference as well with a booth on March 7 and 8, so those who attend the conference are encouraged to stop by and visit.
