The old warehouse on Vaughan Street is being demolished to be replaced with a four-story, mixed-use building with a rooftop garden. Architect Carla Goodknight designed the new building which will house commercial businesses on the first floor, offices on the second and third floors and apartments on the top floor.

AET specializes in closed-loop vertical geothermal systems, utilizing the constant temperature of the earth to circulate water through specialized pipes. As a provider of sustainable products and services tailored to meet the needs of residences and businesses, AET is a key member of the green business co-op, the Green Alliance. The firm effectively detracts from individuals’ and businesses’ dependence on oil and reduces their carbon footprints. In their new building AET will be able to install their product and be one more sustainable business on the seacoast.
